Design 1: Blooming Fortune金羊献宝，富贵花开 by Ng Toh Chuan
Theme Statement:
A rising spiral of gold ingots and coins lifts fortune skyward beneath
a radiant golden goat, prosperity that climbs ever higher with the new
year.
金锭铜钱盘旋而上，托起一只璀璨金羊象征财运节节高升，与新岁一同攀向高峰。
Concept Write-Up:
At the historic crossroads, a garden of gold blooms where wealth and flowers
grow as one. Where lanterns once climbed, a glittering spiral of gold ingots
and coins now rises toward the sky, crowned by a radiant golden goat glowing
from within like living gold. Flowers root it in heritage and renewal;
the ascending helix lifts fortune ever higher — 节节高升. Honouring the generations
who built Chinatown, it blesses a new year that flowers, climbs, and prospers.
Design 2: Prosperity & Harmony 瑞羊映月 by Casey Loh Kah Chung
Theme Statement:
Beneath a glowing Lantern Moon, the Celestial Goat descends upon Chinatown
bearing gifts of prosperity, harmony and reunion. Drawing from the rich
tradition of Chinese lantern craftsmanship, the design heralds a Year of
the Goat filled with renewal, hope and good fortune.
华灯圆月映照瑞羊，为牛车水带来繁荣、和谐与团圆祝福。设计灵感源自传统灯彩工艺，寓意新的一年充满希望、福气与吉祥。
Concept Write-Up:
Inspired by Chinatown's vibrant Chinese New Year celebrations, the "Celestial
Goat & Lantern Moon" weaves together traditional symbolism and contemporary
design. The goat embodies harmony and prosperity; the lantern moon evokes
reunion and hope. Peonies, lanterns and auspicious clouds layer the piece
with blessings and abundance.
Design 3: Pasture & Water 绿草静水享太平 by Stan Tan Waye Pinn
Theme Statement:
A family of goats rests peacefully in green pastures beside still waters,
symbolising abundance, provision, and fruitfulness. The still waters represent
peace, rest, and security, while the goats lying contentedly reflect a
life free from fear and danger. Together, the scene conveys harmony, prosperity,
and the blessings of a peaceful and fruitful year ahead.
Concept Write-Up:
A peaceful goat rests on a green pasture, symbolising harmony, security,
and contentment. In the background, a mother goat grazes and drinks, reflecting
abundance and provision. Nearby, young kids play joyfully, representing
growth, hope, and prosperity. As the eighth animal of the Chinese Zodiac,
the goat embodies gentleness, peace, and resilience. This design conveys
our wish for 2027: a year of peace, prosperity, fruitfulness, and blessings
for the New Year.
